The first snow. I don't think Willie is enjoying it.
Caleb is singing "I'm dreaming of a White New Year's". He wants to go outside and play in it, but, he was sick yesterday, and I've requested he take it easy for today. He's not happy with this.
Alex doesn't care about the snow, because it doesn't really affect video game play one way or another.

We had guests today, the Bennett family. A wonderful treat. I think Ellie and Jonas really hit it off, bonding over their love of the internet.
So, this blog entry is for Ellie, a photo of her and Jonas, to enjoy.

Well, my little boy is coming home today. Caleb, Jonas and I attempted to clean up for his arrival. But, with a sick mom (although, I'm feeling much better today) and two boys who really don't care if the house is clean for their grandparents, along with a vacumn that doesn't work well... it's slow.
We've been playing a lot of Wii around here. You get to build a "Mii".. a little avatar. AND you can send your Mii to other people's Wii's. It's so very fun. So, if any of my avid readers out there have a Wii, let me know! We can send Mii's to each other. I'm pretty sure that Jeremiah's family is getting sick of the boys overloading them with Mii's.
We downloaded Sonic the Hedgehog. That takes me right back to high school. Caleb tells me, this must be an ANCIENT game, if it was around when I was a kid.
The above photo was taken on Caleb and my's drive home. It's in St. Mary's, Kansas. A wonderfully quaint little town. This building just fasinates and amazes me. Since I was given a handy small camera to carry around in my purse with me, it was no problem to stap a photo!

We drove to Topeka today, to meet up with my parents, to drop off Alex, for a trip to his grandparents' house, ALL BY HIMSELF! He gave Jared lots of hugs before we left, and he gave me lots of hugs, before getting into his grandparents' car. Caleb just ran off when it was his turn to do this. Perhaps that is one of the differences between the two of them.
Alex asked on the drive to Topeka.. if he gets homesick, can we just turn around and go home? I think he'll be just fine though. He gets to visit his Uncle tomorrow, and see how a TV station works. That's right up his alley.
They also got to play video games (old school duck hunt) and basketball with my cousin. Caleb reported, that Andrew is VERY cool. (He bought the kids soda and way too much candy). I told him, that Andrew is going to be a teacher next year, and he told me, that kids are going to fight to get him as their teacher.

Merry Christmas!
Santa managed to bring us a Wii! Whoooo Hoooo! I thought the kids were expecting it, since that is all they ever asked for, but, they were VERY surprised. They even cleaned up all of the wrapping paper in the living room, while I set it up. You must have a cleared living room, to play the wii.
